Wet a wash cloth in warm water and put it across your eyes to relieve the pressure. Get some 'shower soothers'. They are large tablets you place in the floor of your shower. As the warm water runs over them, they will melt, releasing vapors that WILL open your sinuses.

You may not believe this because I didn't until I tried it... a friend said she heard whenever you have sinus or stopped up head or runny nose get a large jar of natural honey. Be sure and get a jar with the bee honeycomb included. Open the jar and with a spoon scoop out a piece of the honeycomb, which is filled with honey, and chew it until all the sweetness is gone. What you have left in your mouth is a small wad of beeswax, which you can then spit out.
Within 30 minutes your head will clear and sinus pain be gone.
I was the biggest scoffer of all, until I actually tried it, and I laughed at myself when it worked just as she said.
Doesn't hurt to try!
