Global warming is, of course, the temperature of the earth rising.
It is real and it is happening now.
There are several causes;
the tilt of the earth,
atmospheric causes,
man made atmospheric toxins.
It is a normal earth cycle (happened during the time of the dinosaurs).
It will fix itself in a couple hundred years.

-Global warming is the rising of temperatures all over the globe.
- The causes of global warming are greenhouse gases, which include Co2, methane, etc. This is caused by: vehicles, factories, etc. polluting the Earth, lights (because they release Co2 into the atomosphere), and fire for the same reason. Those are a FEW causes.
- The effects are BAD. Global warming will cause extremes in weather. For instance, this means that it's either too cold, or too hot, or you're either getting hurricanes or tornadoes/severe storms. I've noticed that every season in my area, the weather seems to be getting more and more to the extreme than it used to. Other effects are rising sea levels, animal endangerment/extinction, etc.
- Evidence is the rising temperatures. Especially in Antarcitica. One degree in Antarctica may not seem like a lot, but it is.
- Solutions/preventions are trying not to use cars and other vehicles that run on gas as much, don't waste light--only use it when nessacary, same with fire, and in general do what you can to reduce pollution.
*I'm not taking sides on whether I think Global Warming is real or not, but this is what I was taught.*

interesting facts? well mars is warming, no SUV's or Capitalists there.
these so called experts tell us to drive hybrid's. when in fact a prious does more damage to the environment that an H2 (if you believe this global warming shtick) why? those nickle base batteries. which only last a 100k miles. wow brilliant.
the earth hasn't warmed since 1999. too bad.
the polar bear population has gone up. that's strange.
CO2 accounts for 14% or so of "greenhouse gases"
70% is water vapor. so by that reasoning wouldn't a nuclear power plant be worse than a coal power plant? better yet, don't boil water because it melts the ice caps.
the sun is more active (that means its hotter) no effect right? well maybe like 1 degree, OH! wait that's how much the earth has warmed! no connection.
i heard that the whole idea of an average temperature on earth is a misleading statistic.

Some gases ("greenhouse gases") let sunlight in, which warms the Earth, and then block that heat from leaving. That's the "greenhouse effect", and it's a natural thing, mostly caused by water vapor.
Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly by burning fossil fuels. That causes the delicate natural balance to go out of whack and the Earth warms. That's global warming.
It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.
Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.
Global warming is real and mostly caused by us. Three reasons, with solid support, most important first.
There's an overwhelming amount of peer reviewed scientific data that says that. Short and long summaries.

Science is quite good about exposing bad science or hoaxes:
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/ATG/polywater.html
There's a large number of people who agree that it is, who are not liberals, environmentalists, stupid, or conceivably part of a "conspiracy". Just three examples of many:
"Global warming is real, now, and it must be addressed."
Lee Scott, CEO, Wal-Mart
"Our nation has both an obligation and self-interest in facing head-on the serious environmental, economic and national security threat posed by global warming."
Senator John McCain, Republican, Arizona
“DuPont believes that action is warranted, not further debate."
Charles O. Holliday, Jr., CEO, DuPont
There's a lot less controversy about this is the real world than there is on Yahoo answers:
http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/articles/home_page/329.php?nid=&id=&pnt=329&lb=hmpg1
And vastly less controversy in the scientific community than you might guess from the few skeptics talked about here:

Here's what will happen, if we do nothing.

I think we should try to reduce those impacts as much as possible.

If you want to obtain provide cash for local weather study, do you believe that you'll be able to get a cheque when you say," I want the provide, as I believe that I can turn out that the figures that the present paradigm is situated upon are flawed" ? The satisfactory environmentalist, David Bellamy, has been silenced, and refused airtime. There continues to be no confirmed causative hyperlink among the volume of Co2 within the surroundings, and an develop in worldwide temperatures. The WWWF pics of the polar bears swimming had been taken within the Arctic summer time; whilst the ice cap partly melts, as they could not stand up to photo within the iciness. The ice used to be too thick! The East-Anglian uni study figures. "Oh! The figures do not fit our expectancies. Oh good. Keep quiet. Because we all know that we're correct." When the notion, and the religion is extra principal than squarely dealing with the authentic doubts of plenty of non provide-supported scientists, technological know-how has been superceded through devout zealots. As Oliver Cromwell colourfully stated." I pray thee, within the bowels of Christ, keep in mind that thou mayest be flawed."

I've found that asking people online isn't the best research. You have to research on your own and decide for yourself because there are people out there that are biased, and after asking a question similar to yours I would always ask myself, "Can I trust this person?"
So, here are some websites to help start you on your research ^^ =):

global warming is not good, we have to stop it by limiting our use in fossil gasses and polluting products or the ozone will burn a hole in itself and too much radioactive sun rays will get in our atmosphere and the climet will go up and more bad things will lead to that

Uh oh...... Just by asking questions such as those, you are going to be labeled a 'troublemaker' and someone who should be closely watched. Anyone who does not go along with Al ('I invented the Internet') Gore and his dumb-αss, pseudoscience is clearly not thinking in a 'politically correct' manner. People have already lost research funding and their jobs because they dared to ask questions such as those. After all, Al ('I invented the Internet') Gore even won an -Oscar- for his movie, 'An Inconvenient Truth'. How much more 'proof' should anybody need to see that he's correct?
Lots of luck, Pal. You're going to need it ☺
