Toxic doses of theobromine are 9mg per pound of dog for mild signs up top 18 mg per pound of dog for severe signs. Milk chocolate contains 44mg/ounce of theobromine while semisweet chocolate contains 150mg/ounce, and baking chocolate contains 390 mg/ounce.
It takes nearly 4 days for the effects of chocolate to work its way out of a dog’s system. If the chocolate was only just eaten it may be possible to induce vomiting; otherwise, hospitalization and support are needed until the chocolate has worked its way out of the system.
Please see a vet ASAP. You can also induce vomiting in dogs by giving them about a tsp. of hydrogen peroxide.

chocolate is deadly to all dogs. a very small amount wont harm them say one or two chocolate chips a chocolate bar or a cake would be enough to kill the dog.
as for the lotion that depends on what it was made of.
you should take you dog to the vets if you can find one that is open or induce vomiting if you think she ate more then just a tiny amount .
i suggest you just phone around vets office after office until you find one that is open and can provide more information .

Yes CHOCOLATE DOES HURT DOGS!
Ok my friend bought a basset hound puppy from me and he got into chocolate and ate so much he almost died, the poor thing was crying and whining and had to have stuff poored down his throat every 10 minutes to make him puke it out. Watch out if she appears to act uncomfortable and whines call the vet.

Well Tara,
I know lotions not good for a dog, although I've never had it affect my animals, but chocolate is not good for your dogs. It gives them worms. Good-luck
