Try protein shakes, the type that helps you gain, working out daily is always good.Cardio is great for your abs and legs so yes I see so many men at the Gym with a beer gut and muscular arms because they don't do cardio.

You first need to have bit of bulk to easily turn it into muscle. If you're doing weights you should save your energy for those and do only about 7-10 minutes of elliptical, or stairmaster prior to working out to warm up your muscles. After you do your lifting then you can do 15-20 minutes of cardio followed by some stretching.
Basically don't burn all your energy up on cardio until you have the tone in your muscles that you want. It will limit the stamina you have to lift.

I dont think so, to gain muscle you need to eat alot
of food high in protein (also low in fat if you dont want
to add fat) Body Builders usually do cardio after they gain muscle to rip. If you have some fat i could be good to do cardio
but do it at diferent time than your workout.
Or workout 3 days a week and cardio in those rest days.

cardio burns fat AND muscle, so if you are trying to gain muscle you need to do just a little bit of cardio and a lot of heavy weights, low reps.

You need to read the following books to get up to speed with the most correct and efficeint type of training:
"Heavy Duty II: Mind and Body"
and
"Heavy Duty Training the Mike Mentzer Way"
both by Mike Mentzer. You can buy them at his website:
www.mikementzer.com
These will explain in detail what to do and when to do it. I have trained for over 25 years and am totally sold on his training style. I have made my best gains in the last ten years following this training.
