a cold compress may help or sucking pure oxygen. But I've had a headache all day until I took a pain reliever. Aleve is the best for me.

Drinking water may help, if you're dehydrated. Also, drinking a cup of peppermint tea. You could also try rubbing a drop or two of lavendar oil on your temples.
