religions do not cause wars my friend.
men that desire money and power do. Religion is simply used as a tool to manipulate the masses. And without religion that tool can be replaced. The Soviet Union showed that clearly.

Think about it. The US has been a target for the Muslims for about 200 years-they have always been terrorist. The Jews haven't bothered anyone ever! They only strike when defending themselves. The whole problem has been the Muslims all along.
Hindus' ???
Religion does not stand for peace-where did you hear that?

You know, removing religion would not bring peace to the world. Religion is often cited as the cause of many wars, but it is hatred, ignorance, fear, and greed that causes war. These things sadly live in the same minds that also practice religions.
For many, the only peace they know in this world is their religion. It's not the problem. It's one of the answers.

Organized religion needs to keep the butts in the seats so they invent myths to justify their dogma and demonize other beliefs. Kinda like Fox News.
Ever wonder why polite people aren't supposed to talk about religion or politics? Maybe it's because they are essentially the same thing.

Hello, Abdiver:
Wars are our lot and, unfortunately many are religiously motivated, although others try to kill to gring in global peace.
Jesus said these things will be: "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places" Matthew 24:6,7).
It is going to get worse before the end, so read an online book, all five chapters, that tells of the plan of redemption at: www.revelado.org/revealed.htm
Blessings and AGAPE love, One-Way

I have though about it. In fact, I have studied it. I don't where you're getting your information, but religion is not the primary cause of war. Do you think Christians and Muslims are fighting over religion today? Oh no, my friend. They are fighting over national borders, resources, oil reserves, political models, economic policies...

RELIGIONS do not stand for peace. Religions stand for pushing people around and forcing them to fit a mold that maybe they don't want to or can't fit into.
Faith is about peace. Love is about peace.

who ever said religion stood for peace?
have you ever studied any of those religions?
but taking religion away wouldn't solve our war problems. people make war and fight for any reason, if it's not religious reasons, than it's ethnic reasons, or political reasons, or economic reasons, or pride reasons. it's just human nature to wage war.
