I've got a piece of cod I am planning to toss in the oven for dinner tonight. Would baking at 350 degrees for about 30 - 35 minutes do the trick?

Yes, fact could reduce the time to around 20 to 25 depending on filet size.

I think 30-35 minutes is a bit too long, bake it for 20-25 minutes

Crank up the heat to 375%.
Bake in the upper portion of the oven for about 10 minutes.
The fish is cooked when nice and white and white bubbles ooze out the surface.
Serve with lemon, vinegar or parsley sauce.
Bon Appetite..

If you wanted to kill it it would. Raise the temp to 400 cook 7-9 minutes max. If it's completely opaque and flakes easily when you take it out you over cooked it. Fish requires finesse.

Rubber! You don't say how thick your fish is but that's too long-10-15 minutes should do for even the thickest fillet of cod.
