People havent looked around and started questioning the earth. I too am a muslim and i believe in god, not because my parents are, but because i am conivinced that this world is not made by chance. Lets get an example. I know a freind who wanted to convince that god does exist and this world didnt come by chance so he planned to meet a couple of non-believers and explain. He told them to meet him by the river. My freind came late to meet them and the couple of people asked him why. He told them the reason and he added that while he was going to that place, a boat magically formed by getting cut by the trees and got assembled right in front of him. The people didnt believe him and my freind said " if something so simple as a boat cant be formed by itself, imagine the whole universe..."
Friends, this world is misguided and people have to go back on track and follow the rules as they should've been followed a long time ago. Think before choosing a choice

Basically there are two answers to 'how did the whole world begin?'.
1. Some higher power created it. We have no idea what kind of higher power, because we've never seen it. There is also no proof what-so-ever for the existence of a higher power. But I can actually understand people believing in it. Most call it God. Or Allah. But why not Zeus? Or Mitras?
2. A natural force created it all. The most accepted theory nowadays is the Big Bang theory. If you'd really read about that, it actually makes a lot of sense.
I'm not saying either of both is true. I don't believe in a higher power, because it doesn't make sense. Who created the Higher Power? Who created God? Something must have always been somewhere, or something must have come from nothing. Whether it's God or the Universe.
My answer? I don't know. Which is the most honest answer anybody can give you. Nobody knows. I think the Big Bang theory is very close to the truth. But I wouldn't be surprised if in 50,000 years, when archeologists find our civilization, they will laugh loudly about our silliness to assume either a god or a big bang created all this.
We need more knowledge. In order to find answer, more people need to admit to saying "I don't know". That'll make us search for real answers.

I know that through science of the big bang theory as well as the latest string theory, that could be the explaination. However, those, like theology, are just that, theories, that are not proven. Me, myself, am a Christain, however, any belief one has should be able to mentally prepare them for death. There are good scientific as well as theological explanations for no god, being the understanding that how can all the religions be right if they all are different. Then the truth might be in the absent of all. Of course, this is my theory alone, and i am a christain, just with the ideas that humans are evil and cannot be more than that, so why are people dissappointed and turn atheist when they realize this.

Actually, a human can write a beautiful, wise, heartbreaking story. There have been quite a few of them thoughout time.
When I asked "How did the world begin?", I found an astronomy book. The answers that I found in there weren't as fanciful as a magical sky-daddy "POOFing" everything into existence, but it was far more reasonable and (here's the kicker) actually had scientific evidence for it.
I could care less what someone's "holy book" says about how the world came around. The only thing that matters is the evidence; What can be tested and evaluated. The rest is just wishful thinking and fairy tales.

Wow, there are some really talented writers out there. I'm not dissing the Quran by any means, but I hope people don't accept religion by the quality of writing in their text.
Also, for people that do wonder what made the world, why should their question be answered "God". Maybe it was energy. Maybe it was a creator god that is very different than the one the Bible and the Quran talk of.

I think it's just a matter of rebellion honestly. It's really not that they can't believe in a God it's that they won't believe in anything. I mean you don't have to be a genius to conclude that a being with the ability to create life is probably smarter than your science. They are just choosing not to believe and using their own intelligence as the reason. An intelligence that can't even comprehend the existence of God to begin with. Pray that God would soften their hearts and take the scales off their eyes.

How do you answer that there is a god by saying "look around it's obvious." And for the Quran, god wrote it? He physically sat down, and wrote a book and handed it to a human and said, "Here, pass this around, and let 100's of people re write it, since I haven't helped someone invent the printing press yet. Instead I'm going to allow these 100's of people distort my story and keep passing it on." As for me having "proof" of god not exsisting, I don't think either of us have any concrete proof of our beliefs. I however belief in the big bang theory and evolution. Why don't you study up on that, and try to see where I'm coming from. It's not as simple as answering this question by saying "It's obvious," and you can't say god is real with the same phrase. You need to think of something else and be a little more open minded.

I take the scientific approach, there is no evidence there is a god or even for there being a soul.
If he wanted me to believe, he would not have made me so logical, or would leave something resembling proof.
I was a raised a christian, but this article quickly got me questioning everything I thought a true. I had already taken a year off college level psychology classes and had already learned about most of the case studies referred to in the article.

im a christian and if there is really no God then I have nothing to lose in believing in him.
All you athesist and Big Bang ppl keep racking your brains to figure out how earth/life was formed.
Why do humans always want an answer for everything? People need to know that science is subject to human error and manipulation. Of course God will never lay out his master plan on how he created life/earth in 6 days, because he knows that know it all human beans will try to find the answer, its a test-its all apart of trusting and believing that HE IS!

The burden of proof is not on the atheists but on the believers! Since the latter believes that this someone EXISTS, then they should be the ones presenting logical and flawless proof of God's existence. There have been a lot of arguments documented by philosophers and theologists to prove that God exists, but atheists have presented counter-arguments to each one of these pro-God arguments. Successfully disproving the proof that something exists automatically means that that something doesn't really exist. That's what convinces nonbelievers.
