does anybody know where i can find a gov't regulated tatoo shop in california?

preferrably in southern california.

In California tattoo studios are regulated by the Health Departments for each county. In Santa Clara County it is through the Dept. of Environmental Health. You would have to check with your county to see if it regulates tattooing as well.
