Yes you can, And then go up to their door an tell them what you did.
Ask her again, and if she brings the dog purpously to you lawn, spray her with the hose. Say sorry, just watering my lawn! Thats what that one Spike guy from that late night t.v show( kinda like a jay leno late night talk thing). Some lady was carrying her dog to his lawn, and letting it crap there. So he took a water hose and his behind his gate, and when she came around and put her dog down on his lawn, and gave her a soaking. And said sorry! watering my lawn!
You could also, pick it up in a bag, and put it in their mail box (On a really hot humid day!), or back on their lawn. I would try talking to them fisrt, and bring a witness.

While I completely understand your frustration and agree it is wrong to not clean up behind ones pet, I must also consider the fact that another animal may also be involved, as many animals willl umm *GO where they smell another
I do say that speaking to the neigbor 1st was a good n decent effort and is commendable. However the local animal control agency can assist you in this problem better than anyone else can. Before you go that route be sure to have video or picture(s) evidence as to the culprits real identity.
It would be embarrasing and sad indeed if there was another animal causing the problem fido is getting the rap for, but if hes guilty animal control and the county govt can fix this for you.... good luck..

Call the police make a complaint. Also take pictures. Pictures are a thousand words. I am a dog owner and I would never let this happen. I have a fenced in yard.

Call your local dog warden, and report the neighbor. If you asked, and the neighbor hasn't complied, they are not going to, so just do it. Most all cities and counties have a law, that dogs cannot run at large, and go on to others properties. You are going to have an angry neighbor, but if you have asked, and that didn't work, who needs a friendship like that, especially if you have small children. If you want to be as nasty as your neighbor, you could shovel it up, and throw it back on their property. It's not the dogs fault, it's the owners fault.

If your neighbor was a responsible pet owner that wouldn't happen, so you might want to call your local Humane Society and have them come out to enforce the leash laws, that most cities have, especially since you've already asked her nicely more than once. She could be cited for a leash law violation, and have to pay a fine, and then she might rethink your request..Good luck

First I would make sure that it is her dogs. If it is I would ask her again to keep her dogs on her own lawn. If they still keep coming on your lawn I would then pick it up and bring it to her lawn for her to pick up and dispose of. Then if it keeps happening there is always a lawsuit.
Good luck!

Never do anything that would be considered illegal.....
If you can get photos of the dog in action, take them......
Call the local police every time........ask them to come out and talk to the neighbor......if it happens again call again.....call your city councel and ask for help.....keep calling until this stops.....

Hmmm.... shotgun loaded with rock salt should do the trick.
Non-lethal, but carries a hellacious sting. They'll remeber what happened the next time they wanna take a dump in your yard.

Make a formal complaint. Just try calling the cops and discussing it with them.
Getting the act caught on tape would be helpful as well.
