I think Nifong was manipulated only by his own ambition. He hid too many details to be taking instructions from anyone. He epitomizes the worst of attorneys.

They are not manipulated, the FEAR Jesse and other racist biggots. You have no idea of the power and influence these men have... and because they lie to perpetuate racism, as they work to keep whites and minorities separated. They do this because they would not have a job otherwise. Their actions are all politically motivated...

Why didn't Jesse call for the resignation of Robert C Byrd when he said the N word seven times on national TV?... because he is a democrat senator. If a republican did the same thing he would be destroyed.

I don't think that Jesse had anything to do with the case. Al would have taken up the torch had he had a chance. I think that Nifong fell into the PROSECUTOR TRAP. That is to say, most prosecutors will try to get you even if they know your innocent. They think it will be another feather in their hat. He stepped over the limit this time and got caught. He needs his a** kicked out of law enforcement. He cost these young men's families millions of dollars and they should sue the state for every dime they spent. I would say they will.

Yes, I do. Jessie Jackson is loved by our media for some reason and this has just given him too much power. Jessie Jackson is a terrrorist when it comes to his words. Just because you think you are a leader does not make you one. MLK Jr. was a great leader with lots of influence when our country needed it most. Jessie Jackson preaches hate and no one has the b_lls to get up and say so. He needs to thinks about his actions and words before he speaks.

There is nothing naive about Nifong. He knew exactly what he was doing. He was about to lose his election when this incident occurred. He needed the black vote to win the election. He deliberately and callously pushed for the indictments of three innocent men to manipulate the black community into voting for him. Jackson and others like him jumped onto the band wagon just to keep their names in front of the black community as "saviors".

No, Jesse Jackson is a maverick and doesn't deserve to be a master of anything.

Manipulated by them, heck they worship the grounds they walk on, which was easily seen in the news conferences.
