In Denmark they are turning cats green. They mutate the cats with copper contamination. They contaminate pregnant cats. The mom cat turns green and when her kittens are born they are green. The green starts to fade after 8 weeks but they are working on making it permanent. I highly doubt this is true, most likely a hoax. However, if it's true, I doubt that it's really an issue. People have created new breeds of dozens of different animals...

It's not a mutation, but it is probably dangerous for the cats. Copper is pretty toxic in high doses.

You get copper contamination every time you have a glass of tap water.
I do not think its true as such levels would prove fatal due to liver failure in small animals.
