I highly doubt this is true, most likely a hoax. However, if it's true, I doubt that it's really an issue. People have created new breeds of dozens of different animals...
honestly those pictures all looked shopped to me

I'm wondering who would want to turn cats green. Yes it is cruel and sick and i don't get the point why they want to do it.

All culture is relative. I think they might have been getting bored with all the blond ******* and decided green ones would be a nice change of pace. Alternatively, it may have been for St. Patrick's day. If you would like to see a picture of a green pussy

It's not a mutation, but it is probably dangerous for the cats. Copper is pretty toxic in high doses.

It is SICK! People are being ridiculous and selfish to do whatever they want to do to others! Poor cats can't speak for themselves but I know how much they will hate it! But why they chose GREEN??

You get copper contamination every time you have a glass of tap water.
I do not think its true as such levels would prove fatal due to liver failure in small animals.
Internet hoaxers serve to remind people to think critically -- and entertain others.

YES THAT IS SICK. What is the point of making a green cat? How stupid. They should be trying to cure cancer or something.

Please read the page carefully. It's an April's Fool joke and linked under such.
Denmark has strict animal protection laws and they are not turning their cats green. :)

Gee, that's almost sicker than dyeing chicks pink for Easter. Or coloring a chickens aborted fetuses for in the basket.
