Yes you certainly should.

Blood in the urine is a sign of a bladder infection, usually caused by urine crystals. This is more serious in males than females, as they have longer urethras and can get blocked, which is very serious.

Please get him to the vet asap - as with all conditions, this one is easier and cheaper to treat if you catch it early. At the moment it may be treatable with meds and a special diet - if the bladder blocks the dog may need sedation to have it unblocked (some dogs tolerate being catheterised concious, unlike cats and females), but it may require surgery if left for too long.

Take him to the vet. Blood after urinating in male dogs usually means a urinary tract or bladder infection or crystallized stones that may have to be medically dissolved or removed surgically.

No matter what any of us say if you love that dog take her/him to the Vet immediately. It could be as simple as a urinary infection but left untreated by a Vet can cost your pet it's life.

If the dog has to go on medication you can buy them cheaper at Pet Meds ~~~ call for the 800 number.

I would deffinetly take him to the vet. That usually means that they have a urinary track infection, or maybe a kidney problem. I hope everything goes o.k.
