Bush and the Americans had their Democratic elections in Iraq years ago. The Shia Islamic fundamentalist majority won in a landslide. Bush certified the election. So why didn't the USA leave?

Bush continues to involve America in the failing military conflict and the Shia Islamic fundamentalists must win that way too.

If they don't than demcoracy fails.

This is not a War,. It is exactly what it was meant to be a Religious riot.
Remove Saddam the one person that managed to stop the sectarian in fighting and create mass rioting by tearing down the statue in main square. We are talking about West Point graduates calling the shots that day. Some were even war college grads. No one will ever convince me that they didn't know exactly what would happen.
There will not in your lifetime ever be another world war. What is just getting started is the begining of the first ever Worldwide religous riot.
Your children's children will be going to the Middle East.

its not about iraq...its about our hegemonic intentions. some people who see rainbows every day and sing songs, like to believe that everything would be magically handed to them. but in reality we have to secure another country (iraq) in that jihadi neighborhood to keep this country strong. i don't think the troops will leave iraq anything soon....so far they have built 4 bases and an embassy which can house 15,000 personal.....that is enough to tell you that usa will be in iraq for a long long time. and they should be......i personally don't want to pay 10 bucks a gallon for gas here in usa and i appreciate what the president is doing to secure my needs.....iraq, if stabilize can profit tremendously as well. the reason sudam is gone is because he refused to do business with usa and he was rapidly introducing euros to iraq instead of doing business in dollar. so economically usa had to go in and change few things....which we did and if iraqis cooperate now they can profit just like korea, japan etc did.
i hope iraqis borrow a brain and think outside of quran.
