The ones you are trying to reach with your question won't hear you. All they hear is either thier own voices proclaiming thier propaganda or the mindless drone of thier church. I hope that things change in my lifetime but I'm not holding my breath. Life is short and they spue so much hate and intolerance. It is so sad. This hate and intolerance has been with them so long that it has become part of thier religion and if they aren't careful they will destroy mankind with it. BLessed Be.

I think many people simply don't do enough reading (of anything besides the bible), or independent THINKING. Satanists and devil worshippers are Christians, in essence. Satan doesn't exist outside of Christianity -- the devil is the Church's own invention. Satanists merely turn Christianity upside down -- they're still reacting to it. Wiccans and Pagans are honoring gods and energies that are far older than the Christian god. They revere Nature. Nature is the closest thing to Reality we will ever know.

Well, Actually Faith is truth. Why do I say that? Because you have to put faith into the truth. And that is what Christians do. They "Believe" in the truth, and therefore they hold it with faith under any circumstances. Be it persecution, mockery, scoffing, or even chastise. And we all know that 100 years from now, God, Christ, and the Bible will always be around. I mean look how it stands the test of time today!

And what is truth, Terry? Would that be The Correspondence Theory of Truth? Coherence Theory of Truth? Constructivist?Consensus Theory, maybe? Pragmatic Theory? Or, is the "truth" you speak of the "truth" according to Darwin, or pagans in general? Or, are there just no more standards anymore for determining what truth is because people just love to use words shrouded in semantical ambiguities because they're incapable of defing the words and phrases they babble about?

You're welcome to believe that the sky is green and the grass is blue, too, but that doesn't necessarily make it so. Christians don't run away from the truth of sin, misery, and death. . .we face it head-on. We don't hide behind some half-baked psychological analysis to explain our faults and shortcomings. We acknowledge that we are sinners who have willfully done wrong and are saved only through the grace and mercy of God.
Taking responsibility for your own actions is the basis for the various 12 step programs and for psychoanalysis, but I bet you don't consider them to be "running away from the truth." In fact, being able to acknowledge the truth about yourself is considered to be very healthy by most people.
And what makes you think that Pagans are possessors of the truth any more than anybody else? You apparently have a problem with the idea of a holy and pure Christian God, but you have no trouble accepting the idea of a lascivious god like Zeus or a vengeful goddess like Kali? Talk about a breakdown in logic!
Most of the Pagans around here are good people, but they don't have exclusive rights to the truth. You're just fooling yourself if you think that they do.

the truth is that if Christians and Pagans and Muslims and etc... really practiced their faiths they would accept everyone Else's truth and respect that they have faith in something too.

Eh? I don't understand the question? I am a Pagan, with faith in God(dess) To me, faith means believing in God(dess) without proof, or not scientific proof, anyway, my experience with them is subjective....and so is truth, for that matter...

If you had any understanding about what true faith was, you would realize that it is simply being rightly aligned with the Truth.
There is a Truth which the natural man has no access to nor awareness of; because it exists in a sphere of reality to which He is dead; cut off, by his moral transgressions.
"In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again....Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'

So truth lies in an immoral and hedonistic religion, that no longer exists? Good luck convincing people of that!
