can i keep tabs on my girlfriend via a keylogger?

my gf lives about 4miles away and she uses her pc alot for chat etc! i want to know if there is a keylogger out there, that i can use from my pc to monitor her when shes on her pc.

so when shes at home on her pc and im at my house on mine is there any way i can get everyhtin she has typed on her keyboard emailed directly to me???

OK i hope nobody tells you how because thats something known as being a STALKER. you cant just do that to your girlfriend, if she's acting suspicious, ask her, let her know you're worried. trust me, she'd rather have you do that then watch her every move. and chances are, if you're in a relationship and can't trust that person, you shouldn't be in the relationship.

Let me ask you a question, would you like it if she was keeping taps on what you did on-line all the time?

In many states this would be considered illegal and harassment. Be smart, don't do this or try to do this. If you really love and are in love with your girlfriend, then there would be no need to do this. By you considering do this, it shows everyone and yourself that you should not be in a relationship.

My advice to you is to sit down and talk with her. Ask her the questions you would like to know. Don't do it behind her back. It's just childish. More relationships end because of lack of communication.

If you are caught with a keylogger, your ISP is required by law to give that information to the FBI. Then you'll be looking at never being able to own or use a computer, fines and/or prison time.

How do I know... well this psycho person who got stranded by Hurrican Katrina... I let her live on my sofa because she had no other place to go.. her neighbor had left New Orleans due to huricane & got her to leave as well. So I let her live on my sofa & then she got other housing & in the meantime she got a keylogger on my computer....... so the FBI got involved and so forth & so on....

Besides, have you considered that it's up to her what she types on her own personal computer? I'd doubt that it's legal to log what she types, but even putting the law aside, it's a really scummy thing to do.

You need to get a life. Seriously. Keyloggers are for employers keeping tabs on employees, for police use with a warrant, and for parents keeping tabs on their kids. Your girlfriend is not your employee or your daughter, and your girlfriend breaks no law when she chats online with her friends, so get over it.
