I am doing a report on the lives of Jesus and Mohhamad. I need to know how each individual was or is worshipped today. Some good websites would be really helpful.

Jesus died on the cross, & died of a broken heart. He shed His blood for the remission of our sins. Jesus raised from the dead, because sin couldn't keep him in the grave. Jesus was sinless & the wages of sin is death.

I don't know how Mohammed died. But he died not believing in Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God & teaching others to deny Christ also.

Jesus (PBUH) DID not die, but was made to look like it by GOD, by replacing another look alike man in his place who was crucified by the people who were arrogant (like the Satan who did not accept the creation of Adam), when Jesus will return in his original body and form to join and lead the Muslims to victory in the world and spread Islam. the religion of Adam to Muhammad. To be a Muslim one has to believe in Jesus and ALL prophets of God.
The death of Muhammad(PBUH) did not caused a big difference since he always taught his followers to worship, believe, ask, live and die for one and only GOD and NO ONE ELSE is worthy of it ( not a bit of Gods any creation)

After more than -respectively- 2000 and 1500 years the relevance of these events seems to be zero to me. Dead is dead and neither one ever came back and after this long it is same to assume they never will come back.

I'm guessing that M is respected or venerated not worshipped since he was never claimed to be divine.

Jesus is worshipped. Mohammed isn't. Jesus' death is central to his myth, Mohammed's isn't. His stories focus on his life.

The impact is that people still to this day believe in the nonsense preached by those two.
