The AbsDiet.
Now, this is not a "fad" diet, it is a lifestyle. It is simple math: eat healthier, exercize more, we know that. The book is easier to read, the man who wrote it was once really heavy and did a simple diet and exercize workout.
Best part: I did it out of my home too. If you don't go to a gym, you can still do your cardio in your neighborhood.
It consists of doing abs 2 times a week, weights 3 times a week, and running (speed interval training I should say) once a week. Now, I don't know about you, but I hate running, so only having to run once a week is great. And if you don't have time, you can do weights and abs in one day if you like.
The diet is simple: eat healthy stuff. Your meal consists of the healthy foods. Now, for me this sort of was a pain in the beginning. But I grew to love these foods and the seventh "cheat day" was an option no more. And once you work out more, you want to eat healtheir. The more I ran and exercized, the more I wanted something healthy after I worked out. I went for the apple as opposed to the ice-cream sandwich.

Hi there, I would suggest eating healthy foods, meaning, don't eat stuff that comes out of a box. Eat lots of veggies, fruits and meats. Stay away from that processed stuff, this will help you feel good, lose some weight, help you get a good nights sleep, and give you a ton more energy (all of this over some period of time).
For working out, the best thing I've found is running. You can order videos online like tai bo or yoga which are great as well. Bike riding is a good cardio workout too. try to exersize a minimum of 3 times a week for 30 minutes each time (and you can build up from there, but that is a great start point). You can divide the time up, like 3 10 minute segments one day, or 2 15 minute segments, depending on your schedule, but doing the full 30 minutes is best. Once you've been doing cardio for 20 minutes (or so) is when you really start burning fat. Here are some healthy recipe's (and check your BMI on this site too under the nutrition link), dont go under the total number of calories it tells you to eat or you will store fat..

Hope this helps!! Good luck to yoU!

PS with summer coming, try getting outdoors for some of your workouts, rent a kyak for the day, or go bike riding, hiking, swimming, skiing etc, they are great workouts, and being outside does something good for ya!!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)
