I am a proud Ford fan and I don't cry about Chevy dominating this season so far. Chevy did their homework and delivered a powerful engine for its teams. NASCAR will definitely be tearing the engines apart and inspecting them. Back when the Thunderbird was first raced in NASCAR it was the most aerodynamic car on the track and dominated at the larger tracks. That's when Chevy started running the Lumina which was far more aerodynamic than the Monte Carlo. Bottom line, innovation drives competition and Ford will be back in the winner's circle soon enough and I never have believed that a manufacturer can buy wins in NASCAR.

I just think Chevy has the best package right now, both with the 'current' Monte Carlo SS and the COT Impala SS. That seems reflective of the number of teams using the Chevy package, and it seems that only the Roush Fords and Ganassi/Penske Dodges can consistently contend with the Hendrick/RCR/DEI Chevys at this point of the season.

no im not a ford fan either but the fact that GM owns 51 % of nascars stock could have something to do with it after all dodge still can not race the hemi and chevy got a new motor so if chevy owns the majority of stock they could dictate to one manufacturer but i dont think so i feel nascar tries to make each brand equal every week

Chevy, quite frankly, has their sh*t together. 4 Good teams (Joe Gibbs, Hendrick, RCR, DEI) compared to Ford's 1 (Roush), or Dodge's 1 (Ganassi IMO), or Toyota's none, is usually one way to make a car manufactuer look real good.
But do give it time, a good team or teams could pop up from Ford, or Toyota, or Dodge, and the power could shift around. There were times Ford dominated, other times in the past Dodge/Chrysler were the top car manufactuer. Right now, Chevy is riding the wave of major success.

When NASCAR started Chevy was not among the cars racing. So now they are making up for it.Buick,Cadillac,Chrysler,Ford,Hudson,Kaiser,Lincoln,
Mercury, and Oldsmobile. These were the first makes racing in NASCAR.
That's all I have to say about that.
