It's 30 degrees and snowing now in Floyd, Virginia. It is normally about 30 degrees warmer this time of year, and I never have seen snow here so late in the year. Will global warming freeze us all to death?

Yes, global warming will freeze us all. Be afraid, be very afraid. Only AlGore can save us, go watch his movie, "An Inconvenient Spoof ". We all must be fitted with fart plugs to keep us from adding methane to the air and causing more global warming, and in the interest of diversity a special San Francisco model will be offered at no extra charge. AlGore should be first to use the earth saving fart plug, the San Francisco model, to show his commitment to solving the global warming problem and to diversity.

No. Global warming means what the name itself means, that the average temperatures around the whole world are increasing. The fact that it's snowing when it shouldn't normally may or may not have anything to do with global warming. These series of severe climatic events happen normally at every 10 - 15 - 100 years, depending on how severe they are. So, it could be caused my global warming and the changes we are causing to the environment, or it could just be a climatic event that would happen anyway....

what's Al Gore moving into charge worldwide warming on that befell in the process the years 1100 to 1400! Scientists from worldwide have stated that for the time of this era the earth got here out of the "Ice Age". If the earth hadn't warmed up, there could have been no residing creatures around! i do no longer think we had any production occurring returned then that should have warmed the planet! perchance it develop into the dinosaurs fault! ought to that's that the earth's orbit adjustments in the photograph voltaic equipment in courting to the solar as scientists and astronomers have indicated by fact the scientific reasoning in the back of an exceedingly "average" climate exchange. The earth is continuously changing! whilst guy tries to regulate those adjustments and starts off to clutter with "mom Nature", issues are particular to uncontrolled! The scientists have stated that for the time of the "business Revolution" that began in the 1800's to the modern, this term is comparable to sort of a 17 minute time span of the age of our earth! they think of an excellent meteor struck the earth and sent up a dirt cloud that warmed the earth and killed off almost all the dinosaurs that roamed the planet at that element. What takes place if the earth cools down and the dinosaurs return? that should be a coarse holiday to artwork every day! i'm excited by clean water and clean air, however the government desirous to spend hundreds of billions of greenbacks each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days to quit and opposite worldwide warming, in simple terms would not make experience!

No, global warming is not causing it to snow. Much of the ice caps at the north and south poles are actually melting, because the temperatures have been rising. The last few summers around the world have been the hottest recorded.
The ice at the north and south poles reflect sunlight back into the atmosphere, but with less ice remaining, more heat and light is trapped and is not reflected. This is causing the rise in temperatures.
So no, don't worry about global warming causing snow. In fact, it is just the opposite.
