On the contrary; through faith in Christ I have come to know what being human truly is.
"But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." (Colossians 3:8-14)
You see, you must be born again.
In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." (John 3:3)
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." (Romans 14:17)

Ok, You are an Idiot.
If God does not exist, then what is right and what is wrong?
If it is a matter of opinion, who's?
If it is decided by society, how?
Take both question all the way to the beginning of recorded Human history and answer.
Because, if God does not exist, and it is as the darwinist evolutionist say, according to the laws of natural selection, that there is no right or wrong that might makes right and the weak die off to make room for the strong, that means i should kill you because i may think I am stronger.
So, if you say that you cannot legislate morality, I say to you that morality is legislated every day in our courts, the only difference is who's morality will you legislate.

This, in fact, is what Freud (not the biggest Christian in the world) asks of us. In one of his last books about civilization, he examines that the development of civilization is really for humans to go against all their natural wants and desires to neutralize the pain. Natural human live, that life that is similar to an animals, he thought is filled with pure pleasure and pure pain, thus civilization, he thought, is about trading a lot of that pleasure out for less pain in return.
Freud of course hated religions and was an atheist, but still understood some of the concepts that underline religion, such as humans not acting human.

Good point. I've always been fascinated that the catholic church, especially, has this strong theme about the filth and misery of our life on Earth. It's an insane, dangerous, and self-destructive doctrine, of course. Rather than be human, we are asked to be god-like, and this can really only be achieved after we die. How many millions of good people have decided to suicide partially as a result of this nonsense?
The Muslim suicide bombers are essentially the same phenomenon.
Resist this evil doctrine!

The things he asks are only for our Benefit. Much like a parent who tells the child not touch the hot stove. It’s not because mom doesn’t want you to miss out something, but she’s looking out for your best interests. The problem is that we are like diabetics craving sugar. If we were given the sugar we desired we would die prematurely.

Hardly. The entire reason for the Incarnation is to purify the flesh. Mankind cannot do that on their own, by "doing" or "not doing" anything - does us no good whatsoever. Salvation is not by works.
