The Bible also tells us Christians that when we do sin, we should be quick to repent and be washed clean. You can't honestly say that since you were saved that you have never, ever done something wrong again, can you? I'm not accusing, just asking. I do also believe, that we are a new creation in Christ Jesus and that we're sinners saved by grace. I also believe that all Christians are referred to as Saints in the Bible and not just a select few. I think you and I hold the same beliefs, I just think that there wouldn't be a need for anything written in the Bible beyond Acts if we never were tempted or sinned again. Thank God for Jesus His son who has made a way for us. (-:

No you are not a saint you are still just another sinner just as I, and everyone else on this earth is. The only difference between our sin and a non-believers sin is that we ask for forgiveness for our sin so it is forgiven by Jesus's death on the cross. You need to step down off of your pedestal and realize you aren't any better than anyone else. Those who hold themselves above others will one day be humbled by The Lord look at the parable of the apostle and the tax collector. We all commit sin the only person that can call himself perfect is God. Get over yourself by holding yourself above others you are commiting a sin.

I think it's because we think of saints as being these "holy" people....It took me a long time to realize that I'm a saint because I'm separated out for God. As long as we talk about just being a sinner saved by grace we're giving glory to the enemy....everyday we should be becoming more sanctified and more like Jesus.....We have victory over sin and the devil because greater is He that is in us than He that is in the World.

The wages a sin is death.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
This is from the book of Romans.
Jesus was the only sinless man. He was also God. He was the lamb that was sacrificed for our sin.
Only those who confess that they are sinners, and believe that Jesus died on the cross and bore all the sins of the world can get into heaven.
No man comes to the Father, except through his Son (Jesus).

Just because you are a Christian doesn't mean that you are no longer a sinner. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God that is why we need Jesus. He came and dwelled among us, was perfect (without sin) and that is how He could die on the cross for the sin of man. God sent His son because He knew man was sinful and could not redeem himself. I am a Christian yet I still sin. I wish I didn't but I am not perfect. I can only live my life to be more and more like Jesus. I don't know of any Christians that don't sin. If you meet one that says they don't - they are by saying they don't because they are lying. No one if free of sin except for Jesus. If you don't believe me, search it out for yourself in the Bible. Oh, and I will enter heaven because I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

I am a Christian however I still sin, I try not to sin but I still do. We have the Holy Spirit inside of us a s Christians, so when we sin we act upon our flesh and not upon the leading of the Spirit. I do not live in sin, when I sin, I confess that sin to Christ and turn away from it. The point is I am still capable of sin so when I sin, I am a sinner. Forgiven but still a sinner. Do you sin? I hope you answer yes. We all sin. Forgiven sinners will be allowed into heaven, we get to go to heaven because of Christ, not because our ability to remain sinless. I hope you will understand because what you said is wrong and it is not sound Christian doctrine.

Look back at what you wrote. It appears that you are saying that you will never sin again, that means, never any lust, covetneous, etc.. Self righteousness is also a sin! So is pride! God hates pride as well as all other sins. All Christians sin! Jesus command us to go forth and sin no more. However, as long as you are here on this earth in this sinful body you will sin! Yes, your sins are forgiven when you ask for that forgiveness! You must try your best to not sin, and ask God for forgiveness when you do, but you can not live a sinless life! If we could we wouldn't need Jesus Christ to forgive us!!

For one thing you have to understand the context of that passage in 1 John 3:8
here is a Hint, do now, commit ANY sin in ANY way shape or fashion. remember, God said ALL Sin is unholy to an all Holy God. So..if you commit a sin even in the slightest degree, even after being saved, then you are a sinner, there is a difference . I suggest you study more the context of I John 3:8
v. 8 He who is living in continual sin is of the devil; for the devil has continually sinned from the beginning. Christ was sent to the Earth to destroy Satan's work in our lives (John 16:7-11; Romans 6:6).
v. 9 "Commit sin" means "practice sin." "His seed" refers to Christ's seed (1 Peter 1 :23).
v. 16 We cannot really know God through nature, because nature is fallen. Though nature does speak to us of God, the only way we can know of God's love is through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:8).

Haha. I just found it a little funny, your question. Everyone is a sinner. That is true. But if you are able to give up your sins and ask for forgiveness, then God will be able to bring you into his world. You have to own up to your sins. The only person who was ever sinless was Jesus.

Um? Christians are human. Humans are sinners. I'm a Christian but I'm a sinner. We are all sinners. Darling, sinners go to heaven. It is not by our deeds that we are saved but we are saved by grace. Confess your sins and he is quick to forgive. I can't say it enough. We are all sinners. We are human beings. Sinners go to heaven. A saint is a sinner who fell down and got up. Two thieves on either side of Jesus, crucified along with Jesus, the one who confessed went to heaven.
Good luck!
