I am a women age 56 with good legs so I don't mind wearing a short skirt. I am not creative at all so any ideas for an easy costume would be greatly appreciaed.
Thanks

It really depends on what you can do with your hair.
You could be Nancy Sinatra with boots and long straight blond hair, Patsy Cline in a litle sequined cowgirl outfit and a boufon hairdo, or Dianna Ross with a 60's style stewardess outfit and 60's hair.
Have fun!

A "Poodle" skirt, cable pullover sweater, bobbisox and penny loafers - Simplicity has a poodle skirt pattern and you can get the poodle iron-on at the local fabric store. I made one out of pink felt so there was only a little bit of sewing involved. for a crinolin, I bought a bunch of toille and gathered it up with gros-grained ribbon for a waistband. Cost less than $30 and looked great.
