My partner works mainly 12 hour days Monday to Friday. He has just finished another 12 hours today. Last weekend he went mountain biking with his friends. I saw him yesterday and we had a lovely time.

Would I leave him? No, that's crazy. If you love someone you live for the times you spend together, to say 'I'm upset we don't spend much time together so I'm leving you so I'll never spend any time with you.' is crazy.

I know its really hard, I just had a little weep and a feel sorry for myself moment but you either accept it - have good times without him with your friends and wonderful times with him - or if you are only in a relationship for what you can get out of it right now then you should leave him for a woman who really appreciates him.

hi,

Yes i know this situation well as my partner runs a buisness from home and i have two daughters 5 and 7..it is upto me to run the house and get them off to school..

we have had arguments over this because our relationship takes a back drop/you need to talk to him and plan a few hours in the week where you spend time together..do not just accept that this is a realtionship..it is not and i have been there,my partner gets too encrossed in web design and i have to say something at times..hey..i am important too!!

a relationship is about compromise..all work and no play makes Jack a very dull boy(hope he is not called Jack!)

sometimes men use work as a way of avioding things.

Hellll, if he is working that is fine. Sounds like a good guy and not a layabout who drinks and do nothing for a living. I would appreciate him and treat him with respect and be thankful that i was one of the lucky ones to find a man who is willing to work and supply money for us to live on and not scrounge of others. You are lucky, think about it. Watch Jeremy Tyler show and you will see what i mean.:))

Depends on how much you love him, is he The One or someone you can actually live without? It seems to me you are thinking about breaking it off wich would be fair for both, if you don't feel he is the one you wanna spend the rest of your life with and be happy.

my husband is a taxi driver and works long shifts, i knew this before we got together, i accept it as i love him, but what we do, is make the most of our quality time together, we go out once a week for a meal. it's really your choice, how deeply you feel for him, what's important to you, and the quality of time you have together

If you are 16, find another guy. If you are older and want to settle down with him- What do you think?
