i was thinkin bout goin to galveston coming up, can u actually have some fun fishing off of the peirs there in galveston? or even anywhere around there? i dunno ive never done it, i would go off shore but i dont have enought money? any advice? thanks!!

There are some fishing piers that cost money, or you can use the jetty's, or fish in the surf. There are parks on each end of the island and you can use most of the beaches along the Gulf. Take the free ferry to Bolivar and fish at rollover pass too.

As a kid, I spent every summer in Galveston. Crabbing and fishing was fun. Enjoy.
