Well basicly theres this guy who lives down my lane who i like but hes 16, will he go out with me?
Now obviously i'm asking your opinion but just to give ya some back ground, i know some young girls get taken advantage of but hes not like that and i'm not like that, if ya think ile be out of my league, please award with me some smarts, id never sleep with anyone untill i was 16

Well it is definatly possible. My boo is 17 and I am 14. Just make sure you set your standards and dont let him cross your personal boundaries! If you dont feel 100% comfortable, dont do it. Don't get your hopes up though, if it happens then you can be all happy. You dont want to get all excited and then have it not happen. GOOD LUCK. AND stay STRONG!!!

Its a tricky question that - you like him but do you like to do the same stuff? A 3 year age gap when you are in your 20's (I Know that is really old!) isnt so much of a problem as it will be for you. I think you will both want different things very soon in your relationship (Ignoring the sleeping with each other). For example, he might want to see a 15 certificate film which you cant watch.
It could work but I am feeling that it probably wont at the moment and waiting a couple of years might be better and see how you feel then

You are so young, why would you want a boyfriend already. Grow up a bit and get more streetwise. You may think that you won't sleep with anyone and just be friends but that is not how things work out. You can never tell what a person is really really like, i have been with my husband for years and i still don't know things about him. If you feel you have to go out with this guy and the inevitable happens please use condoms, i beg you ok. Good luck , i think you care what people think of you that is why you asked for some advice. Maybe he would go "out"with you as you say.I am 28..and i was 16 once..and ready for a sexual realtionship at that time..13 is a bit young..i know you say that you would not enter into a pysical realtionship..but a guty of this age may be looking for this and you might get hurt.I was 16 and went out with a man of 26 who did not treat me so well,i was pushed into a sexual realtionship..and would rasther of waited.My advice is to get to know him very well..be friends.

You know I would probably ask a 16 year-old to go out with me if I know for sure he feels the same way me...
I 've been through this before. I like a guy but he didn't like me JUST because I was like...2 years younger than him.
In my opinon, you should probably get to know him a little more. Start from just being friends and work your way up. =)

Yes, but really age does not matter, only if this guy teats you right, and you guys have much t o talk about. IT really depends if this guy knows you , and is not like a stranger to you.

Probably not, it is a huge age difference when you are this age. Plus also his friends will be ridiculing him etc.
