That only works if the demon is a teetotaler and very thirsty. I've had much greater success luring them out with the promise of a glass of really old Scotch whiskey or an especially fine tawny Port.

No it takes a full exorcism for this,but holy water can prevent the activity of demons aound you or your home, come to the practice of using it often in these times.

No. Water can not be holy, being holy is a choice of conscience. Water has no conscience.

Well, there really isn't any such thing as a demon in the literal sense. If your definition of a demon is just an impurity though, then yes. Holy water itself doesn't really have any effect on anything, it would just be that person's belief that drives out their figurative "demon".

Some you can. For sure none of them like it as it reminds them of their undoing (baptism) but, some are stronger than others and they require fasting and lots of prayer.
