i dont know how a doctor can recomend diet like this?!
breakfast is the most important meal of the day - it lets your body know that its time to wake up and start burning calories and you need some complex carbs for energy.
processed foods are bad for diet - they contain a lot of sodium which makes your body to retain water - gain water weight.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

No, that is not a healthy diet. If your doctor told you to do that it must be that you have some condition, and since you are in that doctor's care then I guess that is what you should be following. As for how much weight you can lose..that kind of diet for a normal person would probably slow down the metabolism, and would make someone feel awful..no energy. Not sure about you..you could ask your doctor.

with most diets u will find u lose the most weight fastest in the first 2 weeks any way cos of water loss. can be anywhere from 2lbs to 10 ,but after the first week or 2 dont be upset when u see it will slow down to maybe 1lbs a week.

i dont think thats enough calories.... your body might think you're starving and start storing fat... you will probably lose weight with that diet the first few weeks, yes. but then after the 3 weeks when you start eating more... you will more than likely gain it all back because your body will be deprived by then.

they quickest way to lose fat is running and a big breakfast of carbs and protiens. NO carbs at lunch or dinner. dinner should be a grill chicken salad or something.

this sounds like it is under 1000 calories a day. they say you need to eat a least 1200 a day to keep your metabolism going, or it will slow down.
