In our church, communion comes at the end of the service, so being 10 minutes late wouldn't make much difference to it. In fact, we'd still be singing when you came in, so you could always sneak in quietly and not disturb anyone.
That said, taking or not taking communion is really a matter of your own heart. If being late has flustered you so you can't get your heart right with God first, then no, you don't take it this time. If you've gotten over being late and are involved in the service, then sure. Take it. As long as your heart is right with God (the Bible's pretty clear about that in I Cor 11) then you should partake.
IF your church has restrictions on this, obey them without fussing or grumbling. Being obedient to your leaders in this way pleases God, you know.

I would, certainly. Remember the parable of the Prodigal Son.
If running late becomes a chronic problem, then it's a bad habit that needs to be addressed, but everyone falls behind schedule now and then. Sometimes it simply cannot be helped. But I can't see either as a reason to avoid taking Communion.

Yes I would still take communion. It is not about the time you get there to take communion it is about what communion means.

The eucharist is usually at the middle of the service so if you're late why wouldn't you take it? Two pts.

Getting there late is better than not at all. You're going there for your growth in Christ, not for other people.

yes. there is a gospel that says, "May he who comes at the 11th hour still partake..."
God doesn't care when you show up.
He just cares that you've shown up at all.
