It`s because leaders in the church are protecting peds. because they believe once forgiven;always forgiven.I`m totally against this ideology and I myself am fighting churches to wake up and smell the coffee.

Pastor Billy says: do I ? What I think has become a major issue is both the problems among Protestantt clergy and laypersons but also the lack of transparency within the news media regarding the extend of the problem.

In reality Protestant communities have had at least twice as many cases of child abuse with married pastors and preachers when compared to the Catholic Church.

There is an extreme ignorance amongst many that this is a Catholic clerical problem alone and that it is solely attributed to single men.

It has been going on for a very long time.
It is being exposed now.
Before it was covered up.

Could be as time moves toward the end, things will start to be exposed.
Mat 10:26 "Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
Mat 10:27 "What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.
Mark 4:22 "For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it should come to light.

Perhaps the whore that is talked about is the external church.

Sex scandals have been a problem at least since King David and Bathsheba.

In the 1980's Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart had their scandals.

The difference is that in Bible believing Churchs, Pastors who stray sexually are usually fired and kicked out pretty quick.

The Roman Catholic Church ignored the problem but the Bible believing churches don't ignore it.

The other difference is that clergy in Bible believing churches are encouraged to be married and get sexual fulfillment with their wives as God intended.

The practice in the Roman Catholic Church, where they don't allow their clergy to be married, is actually condemmed in the Bible.

That doctrine of demons, is what lead to so many homosexuals to be attracked to the pristhood in the RCC.

Note I did not call it a doctrine of demons, the Bible did.

How does one form that mess out to comprehend who's the superb faith? ought to they no longer be wrong and heritical additionally? Such numbers tutor that Christians exterior Catholicism won't comprehend what they are conversing approximately and could agree on no longer something scriptural. Leaders of maximum church homes at the instant are not stupid and have greater helpful theological instruction than maximum... who's right then? Michael

Men, even respected Priests and Preachers, are still subject to failing the trust of children and families placed in their care and educational control.
Men are weak creatures which deceived power and authority. In a minority of cases but there are enough people being harmed that we must set up controls where possible.
Our Prayers for these leaders are the supreme power that we have to prevent and control these sexual failures. But Churches and families must be quick to take every safeguard against there crimes to protect our loved ones.

A good and truthful answer from `Getfuzz` but let us not forget the church has gone thru many great turmoils and scandals in the past and it will come thru this too,the difference being that it will be purified and those who have wounded the body of Christ will be taken out.

It's an issue for all people. Just because it is a high profile sin, does not mean that clergy and church officials are exempt from the degradation of the world around them. People get with it. Stop sinning and be more like the one whose name you call yourselves by.

This is a CULTURAL problem above all.

HELL ... if a Senator elected for appropriations to head a "Internet Safety Commission for Children" solicits sex from a 14 year old boy in his panel ... We're Ducked (with an F) --- Literally!!!

Sure RC Priests are arrested taken to State jails then released. Sure Baptists Ministers, and Pastors are also getting caught with their pants down.

The Thailand Government hands John Mark Karr to the USA on a silver platter, and we LET HIM GO. The FBI says "Oh well, we can't follow him 'cas we don't have the $$$" (Dr. Keith Show) ... Then John Mark Karr taunts us all saying little children want it bad and denying them sex will harm them more than giving it to them ... WTF!!!

Those caught by TV show "Date Line" are all almost FREE after being arrested.

This is happening in the USA, Western Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia, and Asia.

I can only prey to God to SAVE THE CHILDREN … for it's obvious the governments are not listening to cry's of it‘s ppl. My only faith is in God despite the stains of His servants.

It is a decline of morals. Too much attention paid to sexual activities. It has become a word wide obsession with the ability to obtain pictures and actual movies, books, and television programming is full of it, along with comericals that center on selling sex. Magazines are full of articles of how to satisfiy your guy, and some music venues are full of sexually explicit lyrics. People have found a new god to worship, and it isn't our heavenly father.

People who come on this site to spread their vileness needs prayer.

Why didn't other denominations take action to prevent this when the Catholic Church was having trouble? Did tyhey not think it could be in their own back yard?
