All of my bridesmaids wore the same shoes, but not my maid of honor. She had a pair of shoes she loved and only got to wear once and was dying to wear them at the wedding. Although I found them unattractive, she loved them and they did not clash with the dress. I figured, with as much as she was doing for me as the wedding goes, how could I possibly tell her no. I picked the shoes I liked for them to wear, but did not make them. If your bridesmaids would like to pick out their own shoes, I would say, go ahead and let them. It's not your feet they'll be on. And who is going to look at a bridesmaids shoes when the bride is right there looking so beautiful. It is your day, people will be looking at you!

I told my bridesmaids that I didn't care if they wore different shoes, as long as they were all the same color. Some of my girls preferred high heels, while some preferred flats, I know I wouldn't want to be forced to wear heels, because I can't walk in them! A couple of my girls already had shoes in the color I had chose, so they didn't even need to go shopping. I think a compromise is always best :-)

It is important that all the bridesmaids are comfortable in what they are wearing - especially on their feet because they're going to be standing up for nearly 12 hours! We've all chosen the same pair (surpisingly) but there is a little one who found it hard to walk in heels but she chose to have them. It is easier when the dresses are longer - if you have short dresses then it is more important to have similar looking shoes.
Have a great time on your big day
xx

As on your question, sure, you may all positioned on the same shoes, very few people would additionally be conscious yours and that they wont be interior the %. for the main area. congrats!

If the dress is a long dress, I don't really think that it matters so much. However, if it's a shorter dress like tea length I think that it really does look better for all of the shoes to be the same.

It doesn't matter. If the guests are paying that much attention to your bridesmaids shoes you have other problems.

No, they don't have to - I always thought this was silly since people are so different! For our wedding, I just had the girls wear white pumps - they could choose the style, heel size, etc. and that way could totally be happy with them and wear them easily again.

doesn't matter to me personally. My girls had floor length dresses and I told them to get whatever they wanted as long as it was black or clear...I didn't see the sence in making them buy one more certain thing when it wasn't even goin to be seen anyway! If they had been in tea length dresses, I would have told them to all get the same color and preferably something similar, but as far as Identical, I wasn't that OCD on the shoes!
