Iam a convert to the Roman Catholic Church (the church Jesus placed into Peter's hands) The reason I went to the Catholic Church is because the Lord led me there. I never really had a denomination before, I just followed God and the bible. Even tho my dad was a Catholic and my mom a Baptist, I was raised the Catholic way by my maternal grandmother who had left the church but the church never left her. I was on my own path until December 2006. Iam in RCIA, attend Mass several times a week and will be baptized Easter 2008. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. God Bless

I converted to Catholicism. I had been a Protestant and a Deist. Someone asked a similar question just a few days ago, so you can read more of my story here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlLACHxtKB5XIHni1rwrh3Pty6IX?qid=20070412123528AAKQL8I&show=7#profile-info-eec2f02de16dd5d36e04d66c937b6d2faa

I converted (well, am in the process of converting... RCIA and all) from Seventh Day Adventism. I just feel more at home in the Catholic church. It works better for me, and I feel that I can be a better Catholic than Adventist. That's the only way that I can explain it.

<> many techniques.. relies upon on the region, time, area, custom, and so on. you may meet people the place they're. case in point.. a guy or woman starving to death isn't that for the duration of touch in who created the Universe or no rely if or no longer Jesus substitute into the messiah. they're in touch in the place they're getting their next meal from. So FIRST you may desire to fill their abdomen, heal their wounds, and lead them to sense risk-free earlier their going to pay attention on your non secular message. with the intention to this end, the Catholic church is the biggest provider of Healthcare, coaching and alleviation help (charity) interior the worldwide. ____________________ Secondly, in the event that they have their very own traditions, gala's, holiday journeys, and so on. you may no longer in simple terms throw all of it out. you're suitable served to re-orientate those techniques and impulses, traditions and ideology in the direction of the authentic God, then to stress people to supply up each little thing that they are conscious of . To this end, Catholicism, interior the previous, has accomplished an remarkable activity of taking a cultures present celebrations and re-directing them to the authentic God vs. their historic pagan or polytheistic ideals. _____________________ yet each so often, it in simple terms comes right down to waiting for a guy or woman to be waiting. to ask the outstanding questions. this is less complicated to help somebody who's searching for solutions then to persuade somebody who's totally happy with their present know-how to alter. I propose think of roughly it.. that's less complicated -- to persuade a guy or woman who they'd desire to workout and as a effect connect your gymnasium. OR, to get somebody to connect while they're actively searching for a thank you to extend their quantity of workout? So in addition, if somebody isn't in seek of any non secular know-the way it will be plenty extra solid to assert "hi, what do you already know approximately God?" assessment that to a guy or woman who's already analyzing books on philosophy, the Bible, and asking metaphysical questions.
