Probably not what you want to hear - but fastest is not usually best! Exercise and proper eating habits need to happen for a well sculptured healthy body. It comes off slow and stays off because you will have developed a new routine for your live. Try Weight Watchers as far as a diet goes. It's probably the safest - healthiest one out there - tried and true!

Well i am a guy and it might be a little untrustworthy in your eyes, but the best and most drastic measure you can take is a protein diet. It is one of the hardest to keep diets, and unless you're an alien you'll be suffering.. 4 of my friends went through it and only 1 actually completed it, loosing 33% of his weight (from 80kg to 60kg) in one and a half months. How do you do this? Well this is the hard part: protein diet means eating A LOT of protein and a small amount of carbons. that way, you'll loose weight faster than the speed of light. of course, eating is not all - exercise is very important: the most efficient weight loosing exercise is running there's nothing you can do about it.. other solution will be swimming- which is my favorite solution. personally i lost 3 kilos in 2 weeks without any diet, including 3 cm around my belly. the cost? swimming 3~5 kilometers 3 times a week. What to eat? Well just about anything that has a lot of protein! many chose tuna, but i hate this so id recommend milk products. Avoid eating bread and pasta and rice. results should be visible after about 2 weeks.. and be ready to suffer, for you cant be beautiful and not suffer for it ;) good luck oleg

I am trying to do the same thing. Go to the gym at least 3-4 times a week. Stay for at least 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs. Run or ride a bike for an hour and the remaining hour do weights. Do crunches every night before going to bed. Drink plenty of water. Also, south beach diet. I can bet you'll look amazing by the end of June. Good luck!!!

There is no way to target fat loss in one specific area of the body. You can train specific muscles however, and the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn just from living and breathing every day. Having muscle will help you burn fat during cardio too. The muscles in your arms can be built very fast, so you might want to start there.
Crunches (not sit ups) will help you train your abs, but unless you reduce the level of fat in your whole body, you can have rock hard abs and no one will see them.
Running also works, but any cardio will help you burn fat. It doesn't necessarily have to be running.
Everyone's advice about cutting soda and fat from your diet is good, but incomplete. Of course, anything sugary should go, but your body needs a certain amount of fat to live. It has to be the right kind of fat from sources like olive oil, nuts, avecados, etc. Also bread is fine as long as it is whole wheat or flourless. Bread is a carb and you have to eat carbs. Again, it's about eating the right carbs (fruits, veggies, brown rice, whole wheat/flourless bread, fiberous food like oatmeal, etc.). Protein should consist of beans, low fat cottage cheese, egg whites, lean chicken or turkey, soy or meatless products, etc.
If you strength train, do cardio, and eat right, you should be able to take off ten pounds a month, plus your body will be reshaping and getting toned besides. This has to be a lifestyle change though, not a diet, because if you lose weight and then go back to eating the way you did, and not exercising, the weight will come back.

Hi Lenna, You & I are in the same boat "the tummy". A Physiotheripist Nurse told me the best is Cat Crunches! So basically that's what I've just started. Have u heard of them?
Get down on floor, hands & knees level, hands on flr. up your head a tad, arch r back up breathing in hold it ...while sucking
r tummy & tightning r butt & arching r back, then down, stay
positioned & repeat....... I can't tell you how many not noing r weight or frame, but try 5 times, see how u feel, then more after u are used to them. "Imperitive to arch back, suck in tummy & tighten buttocks at the same time" as long as you can after your familar with excercise. No pain, no gain!
It tuly works, as u are using every muscle u need to lose to r potential even your thighs. You maybe a bit sore, worth it!
I hope you try, benifet, get results, then we're ready for a beach and LOOKS!!!!!!!! after all that toning. I'm right there with you doing the same thing for same area! Go Girl, Go!!!

Just run. That's it. It's almost summer time, the weather's getting warmer, and just go for a run every day. I lost 30 pounds in a few months from just running. Sure, you can do all of these fancy things that everybody says, but, in my experience, running is the best.
Also, no Coke. We're human, we're all going to eat junk food here and there, but make sure there's NO COKE! That's the worst thing...again, from my experience...

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Just dont eat any more butter, mayonaze, or fatening salad dressing. By eleiminating fat from your diet you will become thinner. Also raise your metabolism by taking a walk each day or jogging for a half hour. It will be gone in two weeks.

fresh herbs can really zing up a healthy meal try growing some in the kitchen using a strawberry pot preserve the flavor by adding fresh herbs at the end of the cooking process
