Why would that be so evil/upsetting? Did The Bible say that He definitely *didn't* do this?

Lord Jesus knows my heart on this. This question is not to disrespect Him or attempt to detract from His divinity.

Nothing would be wrong with it. Why would it take away from his divinity? Because it would mean he had sex? That's a point of view that comes completely from societal conditioning, where we're taught that sex is something "bad" from the day we're old enough to remember. There's nothing inherently impure about sex. Jesus could easily have been married, had lots of kids, and still been perfect. Though because we hear about Abraham's wife and Moses' wife and not Jesus' wife, I would guess he lived his life as a bachelor.

Nothing would be wrong with that. He was still a human being, and it was very typical for a men similar in age and religion to Him to have been married and had children. Who cares if He did or didn't? That doesn't change the fact that the world is going to hell in a hand basket, and look at how much air time was wasted on Anna Nicole's fiasco.

First, there is a long discouse in the bible that Jesus gives about being single. Second, given the task that Jesus had to perform, taking a wife and having children would have been supremely unfair given the societal norms of the times. As it was he asked a disciple to take care of his mother.
Third, Jesus was wholly God as well as wholly man. There could be no physical descendents. Can you imagine the bragging rights to being directly descended from God. As his descendants became more and more human they would have been more and more likely to sin and lead others astray.

MOST GODSONS-GODMEN,BEFORE THEY BECAME GODMEN,WERE MARRIED AND HAD CHILDREN.BUT AFTER BECOMING A GODMAN THIS FUNCTION TOTALLY CEASES,BECOMES UNTHINKABLE. WHEN GOD ENTERS YOUR BODY,YOU ARE NO MORE "MAN" OR "WOMAN" THOUGH THE BODY LOOKS OF A MAN OR WOMAN.JESUS WAS GODMAN,UNMARRIED,AFTER CRUCIFICTION,WITH HIS MOTHER,AFTER SEEING HIS FOLLOWERS,AFTER SHOWING HIMSELF TO THEM,HE TRAVELLED TO AND REACHED INDIA AND LIVED AND PREACHED THERE AS AN "UNKNOWN" PERSON TILL RIPE OLD AGE,DYING AND BEING BURRIED THERE IN KASHMIR{HIMALAYAS],THE GEOGRAPHICALLY REAL"HOLY" AND THE "PROMISED" LAND OF THE ANCIENTS.FACTS OF HISTORY ARE ONE THING AND BLIND BELIEFS ARE OTHER THING.THERE WILL,AND VERY SOON , COME A TIME WHEN CHURCH WILL AGAIN ASK FOR FORGIVENESS FOR THE ERRORS IT HAS MADE.BUT,UNFORTUNATELY,THIS TIME,IT WILL BE TOO LATE.GOD AND WORLDLY AMBITIONS-DESIRES NEVER CO-EXIST.YOU CAN HAVE ONE OR THE OTHER,NEVER BOTH TOGETHER.TRY-EXPERIMENT AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF.NO NEED TO BELIEVE ANY THING OR ANY ONE.gfr.

Nothing's wrong with that, and the Bible implies that Jesus did at least marry.

Christian prefer to believe that it was all about them, and that Jesus didn't actually do anything for Himself while he was here.

No where in the Bible does it say He did. He didin't come to get married and procreate. He knew he wasn't going to be here that long. He came to save the human race. He didn't have time for a wife and family. He was on the road to much.

Women and children in Jesus' day were considered as possessions...counted among the cattle...Jesus did not own/possess anything. He gave up all for the sake of the KIngdom and in order to be more committed to the Father's will.

Nothing wrong with this......in fact it would have made Him experience our lives in more totality....after all, Peter, the first pope was married. So, obviously, Jesus was not against the physical bonds that unite us.

That would imply that Jesus wasn't so divine after all. Plus the offspring was supposedly a GIRL.
