how come the nascar cars are back to the old model and last week it was different cars use ?what happen with the cars of tomorrow ?

The C.O.T. is going to be phased in during the next two seasons. It will be run full time in 2009.

Tha C O T is an on the track R&D program.There are selected races it will run at
with possability it will be full time as soon as 2008.
The popularity of the C O T has not been accepted by all
(including myself) but the therory behind the car is going in the correct direction.
That's all I have to say about that.

The COT will only be raced on tracks less than 1.5 miles in length (not including), road courses and the second Talladega race in October. It is part of the phasing in. Next year, it is scheduled to run on all tracks except the mile and a halfs, but will most likely be run the full season if all the teams get their way.

NASCAR is still testing the C.O.T. and will be run in few races this season and next. 2009 season will the time when they run the C.O.T. in all the races.

Don't watch much huh. Lowe's is only racing our for 7 races I'm not sure about the others.

THEY ARE ONLY RUNNING THE CAR OF TOMORROW,A FEW TIMES THIS YEAR,I GUESS TO SEE HOW THEY DO DURING RACES. I THINK THEY WILL RUN THEM FULL TIME NEXT YEAR.
