"The post of chairman rotates among members of the committee." Is it OK?

It's killing me for me to know i can't make myself understood by the others... But thanks anyway.

Is the word "rotate" used right here?
or
Am I using the word "rotate" right here?

also, "correctly" is often more clear than "right", because right has several meanings.

I understand it, but I don't think I'd have come up with that sentence myself.

The chairman role is rotated among the members of the committee sounds better to me.
