It depends on the means by which you are going to E-File. Most companies offer some sort of rapid refund but will charge you a sizable fee. But you should e-file if you have the ability to do so and it will be quicker if not the next day.

no it isn't.

If you e-file, you may be charged a usage fee, but you can pay that up front and still get your normal refund. You will get the refund electronically deposited into your account in less than 2 weeks. If you mailed in your taxes now, you're refund would take 2 months to get to you. I've been using Turbotax since 2004, and i've never gone back to paper. I've also done my taxes on paper as a double-check, and it always comes out to the same amount turbotax comes up with.

Some places will charge you to get your money the next day. This isnt your actual return its a "loan" for the amount of your return then they take your return. I would just e-file it the normal way, it takes about a week to get your return, possibly two weeks right now. If you get your money direct deposited it comes faster. If you dont mind waiting 6-8 weeks mail in your paper tax forms. You can do direct deposit either way. Personally I prefer e-filing with direct deposit. We got our money in about 10 days.

The only way you get your refund the next day is if you take a high-fee, high interest loan called a refund anticipation loan from the company that prepares your taxes. And yes, then you get less, since the company takes their fees and the interest out of your refund.

If you efile and request direct deposit, you'll get your money in 9-16 days without taking out one of these loans.
