i like a guy, that's is 5 yrs younger than me
i wanted to tell him.

Or i shouldnt scared him away from me by keeping mouth shut?

honestly i wouldn't go to a guy that much younger than me, but hey age is nothing but a number right...but anyway let me just tell you this you never know what could happen if you don't try...if i doesn't work out the way you want it then jump right back up because there are planty more were he came from and one who will see you for the great person you are.

There is nothing wrong with letting a guy know you are interested in him as long as you are both of legal age or both under legal age. If not keep your mouth shut, it can only get you into trouble.

One of you has to build up the courage to go for it. Why not let it be you?
If he says no it maybe a bit wierd at first but Assure him that you still think hes pretty cool anyway. and just change the subject.
