The smallest cup (with 2 flavours) costs from € 1,20 to € 1,80
With 3 flavours from €1,60 to € 2,00
With 4 flavours from €2,00 to € 2,40.
Unlimited cost depending on the size of the cup...
All above are prices of ice cream consumed by standing and not sitted at a table (also unpredictable cost ...!!)
Additional 0,30/0,50 € are requested if you want add some whipped cream.
Above prices are those of a medium large town, aside from the crowded tourist routes and in the ice-cream shops (gelateria) selling the real Italian Ice-cream (I suggest you to search in the window shop for the poster reading "GELATO ARTIGIANALE"). This label will guarantee you that the ice cream is not industrially made and doesn't contain artificial flavours.
If you buy an ice-cream in St.Mark's square (Venice) or aside the Colosseum (Rome) or the Uffizi Gallery (Florence) be prepared to pay even the double for an half sized ice-cream.
Use the common sense and move from the beaten paths.
Give yr preference to the ice cream's taste which container is not almost empty ;the fuller the container the fresher date of preparation will be the ice cream.
