Do you believe you can explain away my evolution defense based on Crocodile fossils rationally?

Question

There are 110 million year old fossils of crocodiles. There are not fossils of horses, house cats, cows, or any of thousands of species from that long ago age. If the creationists are to be taken as correct there should be fossils of all species dating to 110 million years ago. Else, the God of the Old Testament is without viable continuity of purpose and reason.
The only truthful argument against this theory is that the God of the Old Testament created even the fossils in place. Would this be to confound humans and cause strife in their midst? However, there is another pertinent question to be asked on the above defense. Why would this God also create living crocodiles of a line that still exist nearly unchanged? None of the large dinosaur of fossil fame exists.
I know that those of the Bible accept, and, in some cases cherish parables. Why can they not accept that the Genesis Creation is a parable for consumption of a people much less learned and advanced than those of today?

Crocodiles live in muddy environments which is naturally much more likely to result in fossils, thus preserving their remains.

When the enviornmental pressure is great, evolution is accelerated, until the animal comfortably survives in the enviornment again, and evolutionary change becomes gradual again. For example, if things suddenly got really tough, and all of humanity died out except for 10,000 of us who are better able to deal with the new reality, you bet our evolution would speed up. A hypothesis is the rapid cycle of ice age and global warming in the last 100,000 years is what accelerated human evolution. And during these time of great environmental stress on the species, the population will have plummeted, possible approaching extinction, so of course the fossil record will seem to evaporate.

I'm not sure that I totally understand the question, but the fact that animals were larger a while back supports creation. Tell me, why would our surroundings have grown smaller. Bigger is better. I mean why in the world would all of the big beasts die? Like the dinosaurs? Why would such a big race of creatures die? U stated yourself that they were the big predators. So how did they evolve and why? Wouldn't it have been better to stay that way?

Also, I do not trust most dating methods. Since they all seem to mess up on things that happen recently.

it states in genesis 1:1 that God created the heaven and the earth. in genesis 1:2 it states that darkness covered the deep and the earth was without form and void.
satan and his angels that fell from their 1 st estate caused this judgement. i don't know how many millions of years existed between these 2 scriptures but i do know in genesis 1:3 that the spirit of God over came this obscuration that kept the sun from shining and melted the ice known as the ice age and parted the waters from the 1st deluge satan caused. noah's day was the 2nd flood. Genesis 1:3 is when time dropped down from eternity and there everything in the earth was created in six days with God or 6000 years and he rested 1000 and now it has been another 6000 years since.

First you have to believe in the Carbon Dating process. Since it is not accurate at all your large croc is at most 6000 years old since the earth was created then as were all of creation in Genesis 1. Have a great day with the rest of us. Grab a Bible and begin reading. It will do you good!

There is plenty of evidence AGAINST EVOLUTION:.
First, the 'Cambrian explosion'...... the millions of fossil types in Cambrian rock (oldest fossil bearing rocks) appear suddenly and fully formed and without any previous forms...IOW, there are no transitional forms.

Most well educated evolutionists, when forced to, will admit it, but very unwillingly, and even then they always want to seem to make new excuses for it. Usually they just don't say anything about it and hope noone finds out.

The thing to remember is that evolution is still just a theory - a hypothesis, a speculation, an unproven assumption, and certainly is NOT supported by the fossil record.

According to Scripture NOTHING evolved but everything was created "AFTER THEIR KIND"....which is directly consistent with the fossil record.
