"Why are my arc welding beads w/6011 rod burning black,instead of silver?"?

Lincoln 250 D 7018 rods burn blue, instead of silver.
6011 & 6010 rods burn Blue and/or black

Have you not been introduced to a chipping hammer? What alloys are you welding? You may be running too high an amperage for the rod diameter Many people do this with 6010 & 6011.

do u have them in a oven?
