Not funny. Can you imagine God's disappointment in humanity that His children would allow such atrocities to happen? The Jews serve as humanity's conscience.

First off if I asked U the Source of Ur Quote, I'm sure U would say the Bible. Then I would have to ask for the exact place in Scripture & U wouldn't be able to find it in a Month of Sundays cause it ain't there!!! Benjamin Franklin is the author, so from the beginning U predicate Ur question on mis-information in an attempt to dis-credit God but U only succeeded in showing Ur lack of knowledge. Seems to me that maybe U too can't help Urself like many who are lost. Yup! U can't save Urself no matter how many "Good Works" U do!!! Scripture says "For ALL have sined & come short of the Glory of God!" "For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son that whosever belives on Him shall be Saved" So as long as U are still breathing U have time to be saved, tick, tick, tick, what R U waiting 4??? The statement "God helps those that help themselves" is not found in the Bible. It was written by a young Benjamin Franklin while he was the editor of "Poor Richard's Almanac".

So you may want to ask Franklin why his statement appears to be wrong.
