theres this girl whom I have known for a long time. Then one day, she kisses me and she wanted to make out with me. We did, and the next day, she says she doesn't want to start anything serious with me. I don't know if she wants to have a fling or whatever, because she sends me all kinds of signs, and all this started back in December. What does it mean? Should I do anything?

hmmm... there maybe different reasons. If you say that you are close, the fact that she told you that she doesn't want anything serious may mean that she really like you, but if you date and break up, you may lose the good friendship that you have. It may also be that she isn't ready for commitment. Its probably one of those two.

i think, its not that she didnt want to go out with you, but more that her dad wouldnt approve with you being 19. Either taht or she may have already had her eye set on this other guy and wanted to pursue him more than you. Depending on her maturity level, she may value the friendship with you and didnt want to become more out of fear that if yall didnt last it would ruin the relationship yall already have. Finally, after finding out that her friend told you that she had a new BF she may have felt embarrassed or uncomfortable for telling you that she didnt want a BF right now. So she decided to just avoid you so that she wouldnt have to explain herself. So there could be many possible reasons why she acted the ways she did. The only way you will ever know is probably if she tells her best friend because, its obvious that you won't be able to get a straight answer from her.

I think she just wants you to push her buttons, so to speak. Playing the field.
Not all girls want to be in a serious relationship..especially if they just got out of one.
It's like all the fun of a flirtatious fling without all of the bullshit that comes with a relationship.
If you are up for it, then just go with the flow.

at the moment is means she just wants to play silly games with you.
Go ask her what exactly it is she wants from you, if she does'nt want anything serious then it doesnt have to be, you both can take it slow (which is best)
If she doesnt give you an answer then just ask her not to bother you with silly games like this. It then leaves you open to other offers from someone who is serious about this.

My guess, from no experience at all, is that she doesn't really know what she wants. I'm assuming you like her, and a fling might ruin what you now have (friendship) or could have in the future (dating).

She doesnt know what she is thinking. She thinks she likes you one minute, but the next she doesnt. What you should do to really get her hooked is to play hard to get. Talk to other girls and act as if you interested in other girls but not one specific. Just show her you can play games also.
