If you have driven drunk, you should be banned from ever driving again because you have knowingly put people's lives at risk for your own selfish, unimportant reasons. As for what actually happens, it depends on your state laws.

Please people, stop displaying a lack of compassion and knowlege. In most juristrictions you probably would but the judge should have told you during the sentencing or in the court documents sent to you afterwards.

Being convicted of DUI doesn't necessarily make you a danger on the road as most of the tests are inaccurate and subjective. Even being over the BAC limit doesn't mean that you were driving impaired (which is the actual offence - not driving with alcohol in your blood stream).

So you darn well should! That's ridiculous to be done for DD at all, let alone within 1 year of passing test, not fit to ever be a driver

uk - no you could not take the learner using attempt once you have an entire licence. yet basically taking the attempt might do no longer something to spice up his self belief besides - what if he failed?! As others have stated, basically have some refresher classes with a qualified instructor - he can continually supply a 'mock' attempt to make confident the understanding continues to be there.

Yes, if it's within one year of passing your licence is revoked. You have to get a new provisional licence then pass another driving test.

I do hope so. Maybe then it will make the person who got banned realise that holding a driving licence is a privilege and a responsibility.

Since you license was revoked seems reasonable to expect that you retake the test just to make your driving privileges more appreciated.
