2007 return, since you paid them in 2007.

If I need more deductions, I sometimes "triple up" my payments; rather than paying the two installments for one year, I'll add the first installment for the next year.

Property Tax is always calculated in the year which you pay it. So it is very much obvious that you will consider that in your 2007 Tax Return.

You deduct in the year you actually paid it, so 2007.

I presume you are talking about yourself and not your business; you will deduct in 2007 since this is the year you actually paid them.

If you were talking about a business, more info would be needed (ie - what method of accounting are you using for your busniess)?
