i have twist and i would like for them to lock up how can i get them to lock faster.

It takes an average of 8 months or more with twist for your hair to lock. What i twist my roots with setting lotion( example lottabody) and put jamaican mango and lime down on the bottom parts. There are other ways to do it but whatever way your do just be patient and check out www.naani.com it is a great website with a lot of information.

A friend of mine has dreadlocks past his shoulders and they are beautiful.I ask him how he took care of them and kept them swisted.He said he used wax.It will not comb out and if you want your hair back to the original they have to be cut.

Use beeswax or other types of hair wax made specially for dredlocks. It depends on the type of hair how fast the dreds form. Curly hair is fastest.
