She's already a citizen,he helped her get that too.
What makes me mad is that he dumped my friend's mom for this so & so. (she was younger)

No,she came with a tourist visa and got married here.
Some older Latino men want women from the "old country" because the ones here are too "Amercianized" for them.

this could be said for any man, and any woman, after 6 years!!! you shouldn't get special "revenge benefits" just because they are from some other country. and no, it's too late assuming she has her citizenship or permanent residency card.

It's a little bit too late since she already got her citizenship. I don't know how she managed to not show her true motives in 6 years, but i think there was something more in there that it seems.
I've already known of a few women who come here in the US, on a fiancee visa even, marries the guy to get her greencard and starts making a fuss over everything. Or all of a sudden they just disappear.
I've always told people to trust their instincts when it concerns long distance relationships but some are just blinded by the idea of love, or just plain lust.

Technically, fraud in obtaining citizenship is grounds for revoking citizenship.
As a practical matter, if she stayed married to him for 6 years, he would have a heck of a time proving she intended fraud at the time, instead of just deciding later that she didn't like how he squeezed the toothpaste tube in the middle.

You don't know exactly what is going on between them.
"He discovered that she is using him"?... How? How come he didn't see that before married her...or doing the papers for her? Just because maybe now there is no love between them that doesn't mean she used him... she used her than too... he spent 6 years with her... she must of doing something good in their relationship...!
It is not up to us the solve the problem.

i hear that a marriage is only conditional for the first 2 years. Many people dont even get their papers until two years after getting married, because the govt takes so long. He can contact them, but i agree, its probably too late.

This sounds like one of those "marry an American to get a greencard or citizenship" story.
Why did he go to Columbia in the first place?
How is she using him?
Why would he want to report her to immigration?
If he brought her over here illegally he may be in trouble.

if she already has her permanent card, there is nothing he can do...if they lived as husband and wife, what is he going to prove? that she used him...how is he going to prove that? people get divorced for any reason at any time...if this is true, in the same manner in which he is trying to pin it as using him, she can say that their marriage sucked and that she really tried and stayed with him for as long as she could...
plus how do you guys know that that is the reason she left him? a person gets their permanent card after four years if they are married..if it took them this long to get hers, it may be because your friends father was holding that over her head...
trust me that is more common than you think..that is why men and women try to stretch the getting their partner permanent.
your friend may be basing her opinion on what her uncle said...the truth is, only people who know what really happened and the reason why she left him, are they...i'm sure her uncle is not going to admit that he treated her like crap behind closed doors if he did...the obvious thing is to blame the foreigner and pin the whole green card tag on her...
tell your friend, not to rush to conclusions without knowing what this womans side is...

Sometimes marriages fail, it seems that when one party obtained citizenship everyone is quick to think it was done to obtain that citizenship... maybe it is just a failed marriage like so many others.. your Dad is hurt and lashing out, that will pass... good luck to him.

You are. If he married her, it IS too late I'm afraid, for immigration anyway. He might have a chance in a regular lawsuit, but who knows, maybe not, he needs good legal advice first.

Let us see! He is a lot older then she is.
Off course she used him, just like he used her.
If she has citizenship or even Permanent Residency, she is here to stay!
