Yuko or Liscio straightening is the best, it's a chemical straightening process that takes about 6 hours and is very expensive, but it's worth it! The straightening shampoos and conditioners you buy in drug stores don't really work, they're just fancy packaging. You could get your hair relaxed too, like a straight perm, but if you do anything chemical your hair will need constant attention b/c itll get damaged.

I have curly hair too, and sometimes it can be an awful pain to take care of. I've learned to control my hair, though, and I like it better when it's naturally curly. However, if you want it straight, there are several things you can do.

1) Get a relaxer.
There are do-it-yourself relaxers, but I recommend getting it done professionally. This will loosen your curls so that it's easier to straighten, and when it's curly it won't be as hard to manage.

2) Buy a flat-iron.
These things have been around since the turn of the century. I'm surprised you haven't heard of one.

3) Buy a blow dryer with a comb attachment.
These can be a little pricy, but they usually work well. They comb your hair while drying it at the same time, making your hair straighter and smoother.

I think that some salons (i.e. http://www.taylortaylorlondon.co.uk/?source=gl_hair_straightening&gclid=CKaz09uuxYsCFSYSQgodgBFEHg) offer a professional, long-lasting straightening service. Google "professional hair straightening" for more information.

Other than that, a pair of at-home straighteners should do the job just fine. Go into a good salon such as Toni & Guy (I go there; they know what they're doing!) and get a consultation. Tell them you want your hair straight. They'll give you advice about products and whether at-home straighteners could work for you.

They'll probably advise you to buy some GHD straighteners from them. They cost about £100 (£60 on eBay), but they are some of the best ones out there - really worth the cost.

As for products, use straightening shampoo and conditioner, such as Pantene or Sunsilk, then a straightening cream, balm or spray (there's loads on the market, just go to Boots and have a look). Pantene do a very good straightening cream.. I forget what it's called though!

The best thing to do is go into your local Toni & Guy for a consultation - they'll give you professional advice relevant to your hair type.

I propose sticking on your warmth protectant. additionally, you may desire to constantly bypass to a hair salon and get a hair therapy for frizzy hair. it is going to truly tone down the mess and enable it stay straighter in case you're looking after your hair nicely. It won't harm to aim! (: yet discover out if there are reliable comments for the hair salon. Rebonding (completely straightening) isn't certainly one of those reliable thought in the experience that your hair is amazingly frizzy. because of the fact while your hair grows out, your roots will look like an entire frazzle. have faith me, i've got seen such hair plenty. And it could be confusing having to the touch up on your roots each and all of the time. reliable success.
