Truth is truth, it doesn't matter if we know what it is. For example God exists, whether I believe that or not it remains a fact. It also remains a fact, whether I believe in it or not does not change a thing, whether I know about it or not, does not change it is well.

No, I don't agree that TRUTH is useless if I don't know what it is. I strive for truth. If I thought that there were no truth to be had, I don't know where I'd be or what would keep me going on a humane path, let alone want to live. I embrace the idea that there is truth to be had and to the best of my ability, I seek it.

No. Truth is what holds everything together. Even if someone doesn't know what It is, in fact - their ignorance is a Truth. When someone is lying about anything at all, the Truth is what finds them out and exposes them in time, sometimes sooner than they think. Truth is a stronger Force than anyone who would ask a question like this realises. It has been around for a very Long While.

The truth can be staring you right in the face and if you refuse the accept it as the truth, it is pretty useless to you. Some people are so set in their ways, opinions, and beliefs that they will never accept a truth that doesn't fit their preconcieved notion.
Whether it is politics, religion, or how a job is to be done, a close minded person won't be convinced by anyone else to believe, accept or do things any differently even if their way doesn't work.

Truth is a level of understanding of a subject one is interested in. It is also determined by an inner talk with yourself. The mind has knowledge that can decipher a lot. That is, it has discerning powers -- reasoning and past experiences, are a small part of those powers.
Your early training and teachings will influence you a lot. As you experience more life, especially on your own, the early training will be seen as either right or wrong, the mind will help you choose better paths if you sense that what you were taught early on, somehow does not seem correct.
There are many senses that also help you 'see' truth. For example: If someone told you an ice-cube was hot, carefully touching it to 'see for yourself' would instantly tell you it was cold, not hot.
There are many things you are subjected to in your lifetime. Let your inner mind discern truth.
If you believe in God, the spirit in you can begin to guide you to TRUTH. Ask and you shall receive.

No, I do not agree. In my opinion - truth is by matter of definition: fact, accuracy, conformity with reality, actuality, actual existence. Just because someone is ignorant of truth - makes the truth no less true - nor discounts it as useless.
The lack of knowledge of the truth is useless to the individual - they'll have to continue repeating the same things again and again - until they are able to understand and accept it for what it is.
But that's just me. Thanks for the thought-provoking question! Hope you have a great week.

Everyone has their own version of the truth, so therefore it isn't exactly useless to them - the consensus amongst people on the one 'truth' has always differed and will always differ, no matter what it is that is being referred to. That is what makes us all who we are - some things are more black and white than others, whereas some do not exactly involve the concepts of truth or the untruth, but instead belief and personal opinion.

What do you mean I think truth is always useful because you get the chance to tell the truth if you have ever taken anything or something like that....

the only absolute truth we can see is that mankinds past 6,000 years of self-rule is a dismal failure that has grown into the ability to destroy all life on the planet either by nuclear warfare or toxification of the environment
we are at the brink of self-destruction if there is no God
however, Jesus set the example for us in how to love eachother and the other truth that can be unequivacally stated is that if everyone were to live according to Jesus teaching and example, we would have no divisions, no hatred, no mistrust, no separations between mankind on earth
Jesus said there are many fake christians but "those who do the will of my Father" are the ones who will inherit God's restored righteous paradise Kingdom which Adam and Eve once had.
the choice of all people alive today is;
A. choose to support the destructive path of self-rule/politics and reap the consequences
B. shun all politics and self-rul, be no part of it and live according to the standards YHWH set forth in His Word the Bible and through His Son Yhshua and reap its benefits
agape!
