No. The reason is as the weight increases the pressure which the muscle takes increases. It is like the muscle gets saturated and after a certain point it cannot take any more weight. In order to take the weight more easily the body produces more muscle fibres and hence the muscle builds up. Thus for your answer it is much easier for a person who is benching at 100 to move up to 110 but comparitavely difficult for a person to move from 190 to 200.

sounds like a gender competition. if that is the case then no, the male will always have the strength advantage. on average males produce 10x the amount of testosterone that women do. a higher level of circulating androgens means more strength even with out exercise.

that doesn't mean that women can't build strength with out using steroids, etc. but it is much harder for them to substantially increase the amount of muscle mass that they have naturally.

strength is more of a function of the training program. form also plays a huge role in the bb bench press. the form used for benching for power is not the same as that used when benching for hypertrophy

no, because 100-110 is a beginner gain, while 190-200 is harder to get up.
